Rooted in Nature. Crafted for Every Cup.
From lush plantations to handpicked beans, every harvest reflects our deep connection with nature, our passion for coffee cultivation, and our commitment to quality.
The Legend of Indian Shade-Grown Coffee
Indian coffee is renowned as the finest coffee in the world for its distinctive taste and aromatic flavor. 70% of Indian coffee is lovingly nurtured across three districts—Kodagu, Chikmagalur, and Hassan in Karnataka, with the remainder grown in adjoining Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
The extraordinary character of Indian coffee comes from a timeless natural principle: it is grown entirely in the soothing shade of biodiverse evergreen forests rather than direct, harsh sunlight.
In 1600 A.D., the Muslim pilgrim Baba Budan carried seven sacred coffee seeds from Yemen, planting them on the mist-kissed Chandragiri hills of Chikmagalur. By 1820, commercial cultivation took root in the Coorg (Kodagu) district under British patronage, giving rise to an enduring agricultural tradition.
Today, India produces both celebrated Arabica and Robusta species. While accounting for 5% of global output, almost 80% is exported internationally to discerning connoisseurs across Germany, Russia, Spain, Belgium, Slovenia, the United States, Japan, Greece, the Netherlands, Italy, and France.
